I guess the issue is the Test is so heavily weighted in the points scheme used for the Women's Ashes that winning the Test effectively means you've wrapped up the series.
So many Women's Ashes Tests have ended in draws (last Test win being in 2015) so the points are shared and the T20 and ODI formats ares used to determine a winner. This was the first Women's Test to go for a full 5 days and we had a result so if they're going to play 5 day Tests from now on they really should re-visit the points system.
