RugbyWA used to be very good at that ...
No, i learnt long ago that the only way to make money from the TAB is to work for the TAB. I watch racing for the theater of the event these days though i did use to have a sneaky bet on the horse named Western Force that went around Ascot about 5 or 6 years ago. He won a few a races at good prices.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Yep, i was on him $10 each way on that Perth Cup day. He paid $35 for the win. That was the Perth Cup Cats Fun won, giving Damien Oliver his 1st Perth Cup win, after half the field came down and the 4 cars in the carpark blew up. It was a hectic day at Ascot that day, i was there.
Wests senior president at the time Wade Thomas owned a horse called Lotilla Bay back in 2000 which won both the Kalgoorlie Cup and Perth Cup, the whole rugby club whacked it on New Years day at Ascot and then we all got booted out for being too pissed.
