While there are deadlines set by the Court, in reality it depends on what the application is, and how vigorously the parties decide to prosecute it.
The first court appearance could be in a week or two, or months away. And even then it would not likely be the finalisation of the matter, which could take well over a year.
The General, or Jesus Sauer, would probably be the best to ask, to get an informed assessment of the current position.
Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Not sure I'd buy this at all. This year is the first time we have shown any sort of spark in our play and the first time we have made any sort of concerted push toward promoting local talent. All the hatred aside, why did it take the ARU taking over the reins to make this happen? Same with the fan ownership - why is it only imminent death that suddenly brought out the innovators? If any of this had happened even two years ago, perhaps none of these issues would have arisen and all the focus would be on the Rebels. Imagine if it had been part of a focused long term strategy since day one, who knows where we might be now? Instead what were our board doing over the last two years...reappointing Michael Foley and his game plan, then quietly selling off our IP, and then our license. With all due respect, couldn't have drawn a bigger target on our back.
And it is not like people weren't saying it. We were having fan critique sessions by then, the game plan has been criticised for years, the impact on attendance evident even longer, and the criticism about using eastern states players started day one. And the current situation was immediately flagged as the obvious end game for the ARU take-over. I think the Force management has to acknowledge that they have long been the architects of this misfortune, even if simply by inaction.

As an aside, I was interested to reacquaint myself with the contract thread
(http://twf.com.au/showthread.php?t=37624).
I'd be curious to know if the information is still current, because I wouldn't have thought it was normal or good practice to have only ten out of thirty six players contracted past this year.
Might even make one wonder just how long ago it was that the ARU made their decision!
Certainly highlights too the hollowness of their assurances about everyone with contracts having them honoured.
You can sell your soul to the Devil, but the Devil can change the goalposts. I think the Rugby WA board were set up - the rescuers were going to betray the Board.
However, I dare say that some could see the writing on the wall. My son, who is friends with a boy, who knows the a boy whose dad is in the inner sanctum of the club has been talking about the need to change schools and move interstate at the end of the season - IN DECEMBER LAST YEAR!
I am not suggesting any of this is the truth or accurate, but the conspiracy theorist in me wonders if any of this is a sideshow to give the impression of a fight, when the fait accompli was known.
I hope the no we are making can change the course of events...
Great article in the Australian today. Sorry haven't got a clue how do to do a link!! Seriously the incompetence of this whole saga is astounding!!

Wow the ARU has pissed a lot of people off and the media are now circling like sharks.
Interesting that the Australian are reporting that over half the minimum owner subscription has been met.
