will I be able to take the petition to the 7's competition at Bayswater the weekend??
go for it man!
take it where ever your going to get legitimate sigs!
yes....and there is one there already with Frank
another one wont hurt though!
as long as people dont sign twice.
You can take a petition anywhere you please! Just bear in mind that if someone says they have already signed, don't let them sign again. Multiple people at one site? GREAT! Work together, make new mates, but people beers
Western Force home games need a little more consideration and planning. Stay tuned.
Fill a petition page up, and post it to:
P.O. Box 37
Inglewood WA 6932
actually, you don't have to fill a page - send in any pages anytime.
No worries
I am doing canteen duties between 12 and 1. I will leave the forms at the Bar for the day I will see how to retrieve the petitions that evening.
Pieter
Good work all!, I know we're beginning to get good representation at rugby clubs, I've heard of lots that have TWF members actually promoting the petition at them.....that's far better than putting it on the bar. It's important that people understand why the petition exits (Just in case I need to explain it)
- The Multi Purpose stadium is unlikely to be converted to a rectangle on a week by week basis
- This is because about 10-15 metres of turf will need to be lifted to uncover the tracks upon which the stands move
- The WAFC has been offered operating rights to gain their support
- The WAFC will not even let RugbyWA paint full colour lines on the pitch if an AFL game is on the next day
We have seen the published proposal discussing this project, most of the recommendations appear to be aimed directly at luring the AFL's support, seating capacity of about 60,000, Area approx the same as Telstra dome in Melbourne, Covered stands etc. There seems to be very little scope for Cricket, Rugby, League and Football in those guidelines. Our petition specifically mentions the Rectangular stadium issue, but our sponsor (Barry House) is just as keen to ensure cricketers have a positive outcome as well!

I will be working in the canteen so I won't be able to walk around with the petition. What I did was to make this poster to go with it I am busy with the final version and will post it when finished
Most people interested in rugby knows what is going on it has been in the papers and everyone has been talking about it so I am sure I will get the signatures

Two points:
One, print on petition very small. can someone post the wording only- no signatures- in large print so people can read that before signing the actual form.
I need that for tommorow.
Two Ineed a poster as posted by Pieter above that I can print out and have people know what I'm about.
Please help ye mighty nerdy ones.
