It was a pleasure folks. It will be on again for the next home game which is Friday 28 March against Stormers, kick off at 8.00pm.

We'll do a sausage sizzle agian and the Wallabies Jumper will be ready for sure this time round.

Probably start around 5ish with snaggers on about 6.30ish and the club has asured me they have some morer staff on.

Last night raised about $370 I think (Coach can confirm I gave him the baggy of cash) from meat trays and snaggers and I think they were talking about getting some high held signage for the petitions next time.

Better still the clubs till rang off at just over $4000 last night, the best night they have had in years, and they ask to pass on their thanks.

Yep - all moneys raised from last night are going into a "Rectangular Stadium Fighting Fund" which at this point in the game is to help get more signatures - whether that be signage, t-shirts or pints for the signature collectors is still under discussion...

The only time you may be swayed to get elsewhere is if another match is on Fox pre game as they do not have Fox at the club.

my apologies for not making it.
i was in bed with alchahol poisoning.

I second this motion....but by the sounds of it, i wasn't as bad as you Jono. Had to go to the juniors wind-up for softball in the morning and then slept for a few hours before we left for the game.

Great to hear that you all had a wonderful time though

Just wanted to add some comments about yesterday

1. It was great to meet quite a lot of you in person, so now I know who is bagging my posts in the future. I thought the nametag was a good idea (I did get one differing opinion and that person shall remain nameless).

2. The venue itself was quite good, close to subi, but far enough away to avoid most of the crowds before and after the game. As TiF has already alluded to, Fox at the club would be great to watch the early games on. Also there is the option of having a bowl, that could provoke some intense competition.

3. The sausage sizzle was a great idea, and if possible it should be continued for every game.

4. It has already been said, but a great effort by TiF, Gerry and everyone else who helped in organising and running yesterdays event.

I look forward to attending the pre and post game drinks there for the Chiefs and Brumbies games (Confirmed).

BTW, the first hour of the flight back to Adelaide was a little painful - should have probably left the bowlo long before I did.

I know how bad perth taxis are - I could have called one and still beat it into town.
