So has anyone got any info on whats happening for 2015? Every other Australian S15 team has talk about definite and potential signings and we still seem to be only talking about who is leaving. We had a great 2014 but that is just the building block. We need to be recruiting aggressively otherwise we will fall back into the pack like usual. The time is now Force! Don't make the past mistakes.

The only team that has made any new signing announcements is the rebels all other teams have had a few re-signings but no new signings.

Look at the Reds through. Talk of JOC, Karmichael Hunt and potentially a well known Kiwi eight who may not be in WC selection contention. All just talk at the moment but they arn't sitting on their hands with making changes to try and improve.

Just cos we haven't heard anything doesn't mean there's nothing going on.

Foley & Sindenberry are way too astute to let the previous 2 years hard work come undone.

And also clever enough to know that announcements after a verbal agreement are dangerous where Queensland and NSW are concerned.

I would be happy if ALL of the signings, transfers and re-signings were not announced until after next weeks games.

I hate the mid season speculation and the turmoil it causes.

Agree TG. There should be a 'transfer window'. Wouldn't stop the agents stirring things or the journos dancing to their tune mind you :-/

    Hells yeah!

I think it's indicative of the good position our club is in that we haven't heard anything. It's only the Aus teams who had shitty seasons who are talking up their new recruits to keep their unhappy fans appeased.

We're becoming an attractive club that have a good team culture. We keep it up and potential recruits will be knocking on our door, instead of the other way round.

Agree. They each have a very safe pair of hands and I trust their judgement implicitly.

BUT, I say again that I think it's taking so long largely because of the money situation. We don't have shadowy figures behind the scenes getting all creative with the accounts so it is a question of how best to cut the cloth we have. Add in the "do I want to stay with the Force and earn X, or move myself and my family overseas and earn XXX" quandary that some of the key players must be facing and it's not an easy situation all round.

Hope it's sorted and announced soon! Mind you, as the NH clubs have now started preseason training, it may soon become obvious who's gone!

Problem with any transfer window is that unless it's a global window it would just give overseas clubs another leg up in poaching Australian talent.

I'd be ok with only being allowed to announce a new signing at the end of that players current season.

That would be great. As long as the Brits, Frogs, Italianos and Japs all play ball, I don't see a problem.

would have to be an IRB thing.
no player, team - or player's manager - can announce a signing until after their 'current' season has completed.

That is HUGE!!!. While probably never in doubt confirmation is the best medicine we could hope for. Not only important for us as the great player he is but also the kind of role model we want our kids looking up to.

    Thank you Nathan.
