Speaking of missing it.. you're right Gerry. Even Clarkie thought it had missed > 0:37:50
I have just watchedthis penalty at the 37.51 sec mark and the ball went well left of the post the reds should be disallowed the 3 points and the reds have their bonus point removed
Shocking display from the officals again

I thought the ref was reasonable.
The big problem for the Reds was the stinging defence. Plenty of dropped balls from big hits. There was some savage hits. It was beautiful.
The other problem for the Reds was the ferocity of the cleanout on our ball. Gill was clearly a target and showed he is too small and runt-like to play test rugby. He is quick to the pill and has a good technique but when he's targeted, he isn't strong enough to maintain his feet or hang onto the ball. Gill was ineffective despite the love from the Fox team. Alcock was the better fetcher on the night.
I thought Brown was very good. Cottrell was a real find. Where do we play the captain? Alcock has been too good to start on the bench. Our backrow is very strong.
We still had some wobbles in the lineout
The scrum was very good again
The mongrel in defence was what won us the game. The second half against the Bulls was a turning point for the confidence and mindset of this team. They took that attitude to Suncorp and kicked @ss.
They looked like they had done plenty of work on countering a driving maul. This is good coaching. Foley addressed some key areas that cost us the game against the Bulls and fixed them.
Our pack is very strong. We have no depth at lock however. Our halves seem to have established themselves. Eberson has to start. The bloke kicks goals from everywhere. We probably would have beaten the Rabble if we'd had his kicking boots. I have been impressed with his last 2 games. he got punished for his aimless kicks in the last 10 mins against the Rabble. Again, good coaching. Stick to the game plan or suffer the consequence.
The coaching is a light year ahead of the shite dished out by RG. I'm not sure how RG ended up in elite coaching in Australia? His ineffectiveness creates mediocrity wherever he goes.
Compare the structures, skills, defensive patterns, backline alignments between Foley coached teams and RG's rubbish. It's a whole lot better now.
Winning is so much better
That win should get a big crowd next week. We'll need it against the Cheetahs who have been upsetting some big names with some great rugby
Controversy corner
I have read several reports and comments about the game this morning and I think more could be said about another very steady and more complete performance in the 10 jersey from Sias Ebersohn.
Kicked his points and coule be relied on to relieve pressure when required. When we got to ten minutes to go with a lead he kept his head and put a couple of big ones deep into Reds territorry.
Opposition teams will need to change their defensive game plan for the Force knowing that the Force have a kicker who will punish them from anywhere inside their half. What sort of a great kick was that conversion!!!
Well done Sias....
