    my lovely wife filling her 2 day old laptop with a nasty little virus called delta search...
    this little fucker is a real pain in the arse to get rid of!

    anyone come across this before?
    am i better off with a format and just kicking things off again from the recovery drive?

    How does that happen? I'm a tech challenged 60yo fart who's been connected to the net for 17 years. I have never had a significant virus problem. AFAIK.

    i dont use ANY virus software and dont have any significant malware that i can notice.

    after scanning her computer with something called spyhunter i have found over 1100 'threats'
    anyone got any ideas for me? before i trash a brand new computer...

    Dunno why youtubecatcher.com wasnt good enough...
    Now iget to find time during my weekend to format a computer we only bought on tuesday.

    I did that. But it's still there. I can't find any trace of it anywhere but it's still all over her browsers.
