Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.

Maybe - we should re-visit the stand naming.
For Sharpe and/or Hodgo.
We are a bit more powerful these days. Maybe we should see what we can do now?

I see it being a shared venue is where the road block would come up (Perth Glory).
Glory would refuse to have a stand named after Rugby as I'm sure we would not want a stand named after soccer...
But I would back it and as Ex has suggested Hodgo (inaugural member, captain, soon to be part of coaching, Legend)
I dont see why we cant have a stand/area named after a Western Force Legend, and another stand/area named after a Perth Glory Legend.
I am sure that if we got together with the Glory Fans and presented a united front. Then perhaps Venues West may find it harder to brush us off.
From an administrative point of view - I might create a new thread for the Grandstand naming. The Petition to save the Western Force is done. I am claiming a victory and moving on.

With all respect to Nathan Sharpe, I'm glad it didn't get up. Hodgo with his lengthy career and on going long term committment would also be worthy. It's not like you can just keep adding more names. Even then it would probably be smart to have a set number of years post retirement for such honours. I'd hazard a guess that the Mungos might wish they hadn't rushed into the decision on at least one Immortal. Though, admittedly, that's a media rather than official award.

I think Sharpie will always be a club legend, inaugural captain and general unquestioned legend of the first ten years has done that. Interestingly hodgo has really only become a regular starter after the loss of pocock I don't know whether that will reduce his impact in people's minds.
C'mon the
I hate to be that guy but I wouldn't be claiming victory yet. All SANZAR have done is postpone their decision on the competition format so at this stage it is a stay of execution.
Importantly it gives RugbyWA time to get the house in order, get the share plan idea out to the people and convince the ARU that it would be a mistake to cut the Force.
Sinderberry himself said they needed more time and they got it, but in the end decision hasn't been made.
