probably waiting for his ARU offer first
I think the little bastard is secretly negotiating with Guy McKenna. The sky is falling and he doesn't care at all. This whole thing could turn into an X File.

He probably doesn't want the press conference to announce he is leaving when the lads are away. He'd be accused of being a gimp.
In the good ole days, he wouldn't have left a club that gave him a start and made him a wallaby, but if he did he would have announced it to the team first.

Controversy corner
Do you think the ARU are dragging their feet? JO'C's an established Wallaby, but doesn't have an established position. Maybe that's affecting the calculation of his ARU portion - playing different positions, with different levels of importance, for the Force and Wallabies.
With Drew Mitchell out for a while, he has either a wing spot or a spot at 12 sown up. He could probably slot into 15 if Kurtley Beale's form doesn't improve too.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Deans has said in a statement today that he doesnt think JOC is up to being a international number 12... yet not this year anyway at this stage Gits or Barnes has this or eve Fiaanga (reds)

Deans also thought Mehrtens wasn't up to international standard even on the bench.
Any remember how that turned out in the 03 RWC?

JOC could play internationally anywhere apart from 9 and 10.
JOC will be a winger / ultility player this RWC... Hey Zed if he can play anywhere, I'd like to see him playing scrumhalf at the Brumbies...
