Hopefully someone from rugbywa reads this forum and takes all of your comments on board for next year.

I received my membership pack a couple of days after my card, and my hat has "member 2011" on it, so I'm happy with that. However I do find it interesting that they send the same stuff to all members regardless of price paid. I only purchased a national membership and I get the same gear as the rest of you, maybe that's something they could look at altering next year. Basic membership could gets hats/bag etc and then more things are added dependent upon your level of membership, it may help satisfy members.
It has certainly worked at the rebels, and they also provide small extra things for members before the home games. Week 1 we got keyrings and week 2 luggage tags, they are only small items but at least they are doing what they can to reward the members.

It wouldn't take much lox. In the first year, I remember we got key rings......it seems a bit like midas' bounty now!

The gist of the theory Lox is that all Members are equal, wherever they are around the globe, you just pay extra for the perceived value of your seat.
When I was a Gold Member I thought that was a bit rough, but now as "Out of Town" (or whatever they call it, heaven forbid calling it "Country") I can see some of the merit in it.
That said, I am pretty sure at least in the past Diamond Members did get a bit more.
I guess really, the franchise isn't going to accept less profit so anything extra has to be paid from somewhere.

To me the real issue in valuing Members is the rest of the scene with expecting people to pick their own packs up, major reductions in supporter gear range/sizes etc etc.
