I think McGregor was listed as a fly-half when he was signed, and was shifted to full-back as we were looking bare there. But I can't recall seeing him play 10, even shifting into the role after multiple phases, and it could be he played 10 at club level but would need time to adjust at NRC/GRR/SR level.

You're probably right. After all Clarke said talks with Fox are "positive' and who could doubt what he says?. But in fact, that could be anything north of being escorted from the premises by security. The only thing that is actually positive is Foxtel's desperation for live content in our timezone. With the AFL, NZRU, Netball league and a few others getting closer to resuming that's really not terribly huge leverage.

Taefu at 12 for me. He has developed his game immensely since arriving in Perth and I think Sampson has been a great coach for him. I would put him ahead of Jooste and certainly ahead of Brache.

Jack is in fact originally a 10, & from memory he played the 2nd half at 10 in the game against that game against Eastwood? -not sure. But I remember him saying after the game that he prefers playing 10, so will have to see what pans out. AJ’s growing into the role, just needs more self confidence in tactical decisions, which Deegan was so good at.
I think I remember Jack playing 10 late in matches this year, probably trials and such.
It appears he is still on the list of backup 10s, but in reality, all of our backup 10s are locked in starter's in other positions, which likely explains why aj is getting the gig. I'm pretty confident hell grow into the role, but hell be facing some pretty aggressive defense now, so hopefully he's got enough in the huevos department to stick with it.
Out of interest, with his size, what do we think about using jooste at 15 and freeing up jack for 10 late in the match when the gaps open up?
Might be a cheeky change up worth considering

So maybe Jooste at 15, and McGregor on the bench as an attacking sub? I'd expect this new comp to be a bit tighter than GRR.
thought Jooste was the schoolboy wonderboy at 10,then snapped up by the Brums

With talk of a few players looking to join The Force, I tried to find former Force players who are off contract and (hopefully) pass the 'no dickheads' policy: Ainsley, Vui, RHP, Cottrell, Hardwick, Louwrens, Deegan, Morahan, Uyen. Be happy to get any of them to strengthen the squad.
Thought Morahan had signed with the new American comp?
Curtis Rona?
