I used the word Wallatahs
In June of last year, the Australian Sports Commission produced a report on governance reform in sport. An annex to the report lists the areas that are key to good governance and says which sports organisations are doing things well. Not surprisingly, Rat’s Arse appears nowhere on that list!!
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
Not surprisingly, Japanese team Toyota Verblitz 36 Rebels 28. Sorry (not) to hear the Rebels pre season off to a flying start.

The Waratahs quietly announced a swathe of new contracts for youngsters in their club this week.
Former Force prop Shambeckler Vui, who starred for the Australia U20s last year, and winger Alex Newsome and Shute Shield star Will Miller headlined the list of nine acquisitions for the club
Still curious where Ben McCalman, Billy Meaks, Curtis Rona, Chance Peni, Angus Cottrell and Rich Arnold will be going?
So, to continue the conversation with myself, I see that the balance of the 2017 squad will have RUPA enforceable contracts out till 2018 and 2019. So no real pressure I would assume as the ARU will still have to honour their contracts and payments?
Not going into one of the other 4 SR franchise teams vacancies will not be helpful to the ARU as their will be NO savings ........
