I spoke to one of the main rebel army guys last night about the game of touch, he will chat to some of the army members to see if a game can be organised.
If it went ahead it would have to be on the saturday but most of the rebel army people play club rugby on saturday, so at this stage its not looking good.
They're scared ...
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Well he was suprised at the number of innFORCERs that are coming over to Melbourne.
so long as the pubs know we are coming
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
Whats that pub in Melbourne thatkeeps beating for the yearly Guinness selling title?
We shouldn't be aiding the enemy![]()
My name is Gav, I'm the co founder of the Rebel Army.
We might be able to facilitate a touch game, depending on numbers, day/time etc...
As Elisha touched on, most of us play club rugby on Saturdays, so it could be a pain.
You're more then happy to join us at our pub of choice, Turf Bar (131 Queen St) before and after the game.
Where will you be sitting also?
Happy to share a brew or too with fellow Rugby supporters. When the ref blows the whistle though, it's white line fever.
It's also a Star Wars theme for the match, so get your "Force" on literally.
Welcome Gav!
Innforcers are sitting in east section 77 level 3.
Turf bar will definitely be on our list of places for a drink, especially since they are rugby supporter friendly. Although as per the other innforcers trips I have been on it will be one of a very long list of establishments which we will be visiting....
