Happy memories for me seeing Gilly hit the Poms all over the place and regaining the Ashes. Not so happy for some rellies who had come over from England to see the cricket!

indeed they were, i'd saved up all my leave from work for the series. Unfortunately tickets were hard to come by saved my money and watched every day of the series from the comfort of my recliner or the the pub. Although i did chuck a few sickies in the first 2 tests. 5-0 whitewash was truely glorious, although day 3 at the WACA was a stinker but to be there when Gilly smashed the poms all over the place was memorable.

Likewise

i pat $275 for a membership and a guest card, so thats $137.50 for each ticket and that gives me 2 guarenteed seats to EVERY day of cricket at the WACA. If theres cricket at the WACA odds are i'm there even if it's just the afternoon session in Pura Cup after work etc etc

but i try and go to as many of the one days/day nighters. and now the twenty20s as i can. because there a bit more fun.

i dunno why i am admitting this. but i also pay every year for an east fremantle membership. havent been to a game in like 5 years though.
ive made a promise that i am going to the east v south derby this year though!

i dont mind.
been an east supporter for years, so i'm used to getting a hard time about it. its great though because mum and the little brother support south freo, and dad and myself are east. so we get some good rivalries going come derby week!
