He's come in looking for work in defence as well.
The cameras probably haven't shown it but he's put in a lot of work tonight.

Well what a weekend of rugby to see the new signings of Zac Holmes ,, Pior and Luke Monhan all scoring meat pies and really showing the class they are... If those 3 are the face of 2-14 and also a few from wednesday night game and poss tomorrows game Things COULD be looking up ( I really hope so )))

Foley should really watch the local talent and the younger guys... They look promising

Great signing in Kyle showing commitment to the club a year early. Sweet

Now will he be running off O'Connor next season?

more likely Holmes, OConnor wont be a priority at this point as we have more urgent holes in other positions to fill. a world class 13 would be nice... BOD would be awesome

Any news on Brown and Cummings, both have gone quiet, however, the front page of this thread has Brown marked as gone?

i think JOC would make a World Class 13 in the mold of BOD. same skill set great with ball in hand both have great foot work and both good defenders.

JOC isnt a 10 and is to good to be on the wing i think 13 would be very good for him.

That would be quite funny to have Godwin (10) at inside centre and JOC (10 or 15) at outside. That would be tree ball running 10's. Like the sound of that.

Spoke with Pek Cowan today who advised Nic Cummins has not signed with anyone yet. He is waiting for the ARU to make a decision...great news I think..apologies if this has already been posted...

thanks for the update Hertryk. I suspected as much but obviously nothing has been released as yet.

completely off topic - I assume your name should be read as "Her Trike", but for some reason my mind always pronounces it as "Heretic"!

Doing better than me. After living in Norway, I naturally assumed the scandinavian pronunciation, i.e "Her trick". Until told otherwise and then meeting the owner, I kept well away from enquiring about etymology.

On another note re the Lions/Tahs game last night. Nearly puked at the usual rant by Fox about how wonderful the Tahs were. Had to laugh when they ended up the the same score that the Force B team got even with their precious walaby players that for some reason were allowed to play! (hypocritical ARU or what) Cheika needs that smug dial of his pushed in at some point so it was just reward. Also how they deliberately went out to play as dirty as poss but somehow that's ok if Cheika says they can by targeting Lions players. So after all his spouting they really didn't do that well considering they've had 3-4 games to suss out Lions games tactics. And did anyone have a good chuckle at all the Tahs supporters stampeding out the door in droves with 15 minutes to go when they were losing LOL!! Cheika and Fox sports you're NOBS!
