[QUOTE=chertubler;355339]Rocky beat kala good game to watch well reffed not good to see kala fans get off bus with own beer

My understanding is that if a club pulls that stunt it is an automatic 200 dollar fine by Rugby WA or has that changed

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

In today’s other matches, Rockingham upset Kalamunda, 27-19; Cottesloe claimed a 30-22 win over UWA; Wests Scarborough edged out Palmyra, 23-21, and Wanneroo registered their first win of the season, defeating Perth Bayswater, 17-10.

Mr. Chertubler pse get Josh to notify RWA about the beer issue. 300 dollar fine, must stamp it out. Time that clubs learned a bit of respect.

Eight games to go and the Roo Dogs mount a late charge to reach the finals....
Off the bottom of the ladder.

Wests were very lucky and won at the bell.Paly lost it thru illdiscipline at the breakdown but were hard done by on a couple of occasions. How one ref polices the breakdown could be totally different to the next week 's ref,a bit of consistency would be nice. Having said that we were robbed in the first round so it all evens itself out

As somebody involved in wa reffing, I'd be interested in hearing specifics (not ref names) on how it is interpreted differently - we are certainly keen to provide consistency. Are we talking different refs, different grades etc ?

    Thanks

Tackler release, some refs give you no chance to even let go and others let the tackler lie all over the tackled player. Some refs ping players for going off their feet and some ref it as a free for all.Coops is obviously the one on the way up and his style is quite different to everyone else's and that's fine but everyone else needs to ref like him because teams shouldn't have to adjust their play because of the ref and that is currently what is happening.I am not bagging out the refs because I think the standard is on the rise and quite markedly too but consistency is all we are after.Sorry the grade I am refering to is prem's

Thanks Westie. Will see if we can get Coops game/s or at least some TRMs shown at ref education meeting. Of course though we are all individuals with slightly different views (hopefully as refs not too different)

Rocky beat mandurah in champ comp great game played in great spirit and great after game support by mandurah think some people up town could learn a thing or too
They bought the beer from the Boab, who are our sponsors, to drink on the bus trip down but when the bus rolled up the driver refused any consumption of alcohol on the bus. Thus leading to said beer being brought along.
Well done Rocky on your victory. Won the game by overwhelming us physically. Kala need to dig themselves out of this current slump or the good start will be in vain.

Sounds like a confession to me.

    Hansie, fine the bastards!

PS Any truth to the rumour that some of the Kala boys were on the piss on the bus trip down and then performed below par on the paddock?

Any truth to the rumour that the Cott coach will not be having his contract renewed at the conclusion of this season?

The Cott heirachy were not happy last season and were close to ditching him then but from what I heard yesterday its a done deal this time.

That's the rumour. Anyone have any details?

If the rumour is correct, there are personality issues that are over riding the position on the ladder situation. It's been building for some time.

The grapevine was saying that some of their stalwarts had walked last year and I heard that the situation has worsened.
