Hopefully "Yes we can" doesn't become, "I told you so" or "don't blame me" over the next four years.

If we don't hear the later two I'd be shocked but very happy. They are politicians after all. They seldom take responsibility for their actions.

When it's all said and done, my family is much better off today than we were 4 years ago and I'm confident that we'll be better off 4 years from now in spite of who's running the country. Not only that the Force will win a couple trophies in the next four years, and that's really all that matters!

What troubles me the most is Mr Obama's attitude to the "War" in Iraq and Afghanistan. Without wanting to get in to a debate of whether it is right or wrong. He has stated his intention to bring the troops home. What bothers me is that the thousands of troops that have lost their lives for no apparent reason at all. I don't know if there is a solution or a correct way of doing it - but it saddens me to think that all of those troops who were doing what their Commander in Chief told them to do lost their lives.

I, like many of my fellow Kenyans, are celebrating the victory of my relative (he is, seriously..I mean, really he is..).

Not that I'm a fan of McCain I thought he was way too old and confused to run the country, but I certainly don't believe Obama is the man for the job. He has no experience in anything excepting public speaking, his entire campain was run on two words Change & Bush. I'm against just about everything thing he stands for from bigger government to his views on abortion.

That being said he did what he had to do win. So congrats to him and his team.

On the positive side I guess now I'll have free health care, free drugs, I won't have to pay my daughters college tuition or my mortgage anymore. And I won't have to listen to all the stupid commercials especially how Obamas mother was dying and all she was worried about was how she was going to pay her medical bills.

So are you guys finally getting free medical now?

After watching Michael Moore's 'Sicko' movie I was stunned at the system over there, even more suprised to find how behind we are compared to some European countries.

I thought everyone knew the G20. They were a pop group Homer Simpson was in. They had a one hit wonder called Baby On Board. George Bush auditioned for it, but was rejected on the basis that they only accepted cartoon characters, not caricatures.

(Yes Happy, hypocritical on my part, I know.)
