You'r probably right again Burgs, I've only seen a couple of ES games in the flesh but they were particularly awful. One in particular Gordon v West? Harbour was so bad that I felt cheated, and entry was free! But I've also seen a number of their finals on TV and I acknowledge the standard there is very high.
Act comp a few years back was pretty ordinary, dont know what it's like now.
Apart from Campo I don't know of any top line player that started his career from there. There may be some though...
There has been a few
A few better known names: George Gregan, Stephen Larkham, Matt Giteau, Joe Roff, Justin Harrison, Manny Edmonds.
Wallabies from Gungahlin: Craig Morton (1986), Leigh Donnellan (1989) and Marco Caputo (1993-97).
Current Force: Matt Henjak, Matt Giteau, Tamaiti Horua
Current Brumbies: Huia Edmonds, Anthony Faingaa, Saia Faingaa, Nic Henderson*, Julian Huxley, Clyde Rathbone, Julian Salvi, Guy Shepherdson, Tyrone Smith*, John Ulugia

I meant born and raised and developed their rugby there in the local comp! Guess I asked for that though!
Most of those listed can claim the raised and developed part, if not the born part too.
Anyway, the point I think we would agree on is that they are quiet clearly the third rugby "heartland" after Sydney and Brisbane?
