Some pretty valuable life lessons in this thread Luke:
1. If a Scot is offering you a financial deal that appears too good to be true then it probably is!
Scots are notoriously tight with their cash and would hardly risk having to buy a Pom a beer!
2. If you are a Pom and a Scot has a chance of duping you, he will, 100% of the time.
3. If you are looking to go into a financial arrangement with any degree of risk, always research the “project” fully.
4. If you confide in a Welshman you can expect him to eventually rat on you if it means he gets away without costing himself.
A Pom should always look to the Welsh for information about other Celts and you would have thought the Scots would remember by now.
5. If an Aussie doesn’t have an Australian example to compare to the British rugby subject he will offer a New Zealand comparison, purely for the joy of seeing the nearby Poms get sh*tty!!!
6. If you confide in an Aussie a way to get a free drink out of a Pom you can be sure he will get on board!
Here ends the lesson
Now go forth and discover the reason that TEF would “risk” that pint
