I not that it concerns me in the slightest but I doubt JO'C will go. Learning from senior players is all well and good but when it comes down to it nothing beats game time. He probably wouldn't take a smaller contract only to play second or third fiddle to someone else. Shep is not off contract until next year and if you think he's over rated what on earth do you think of Rathbone and Gerrard? As it stands Shep was the replacement for Latham at 15 and noone- not AAC, not Drew Mitchell or anyone else has done the jersey any justice.

AAC only got the gig when Shep broke his ankle
Shep was on his way out as he was performing poorly... I think Shep will struggle to get back to the Wallabies this year...and He may prove me very wrong...
With your last statement Mud, I would like to see you eat some humble pie, however there are no pies available in Sydney, humble or otherwise to service this request.
AAC played one good game at Fullback
Huh? THIS article has Gits back in Canberra with "$110,000 from a Brumbies contract - the maximum an Australian Super 14 franchise can pay a player".
Then THIS says "the state teams are not permitted to offer players more than $220,000 each". It is our chum Harris mind, but is he perhaps revealing just what the ARU meant when "THE Australian Rugby Union has slammed the door on players seeking the same treatment it gave to Wallabies winger Lote Tuqiri to keep him in the code"!
Well thats tough. I don't share.
The Waratahs are interested in probably most of our offcontract players. So... no more Lote?Excellent... BUT they still can't have Drew.
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

AAC got to the Wallabies by default, most of his career he has been in reight place at the right time. He can't kick very predictable in attack and will struggle to get in the initial squad
I happen to think he is too much of a jack of all trades. He has far from shone at 15 or on the wings and when he plays in the centres he has the odd good game (like that absolute cracker against the Barbarians) but can't keep it up week to week. Perhaps he just needs a few years to develop. He is amazing at powering through the tackle though- very hard to bring down.

I understand you wish it was the Force however life is shot and s a sportsman’s career is shorter. Often the best professional decision is to take less early in a career but pick the master you want to learn from. I think that's why JOC went to the Force in the first place. Choose where you want to be and learn. The rewards will come 10 fold later when you’re the new master, Grasshopper…
this applies to all life's professions...
JOC won't go anywhere if he isn't going to get game time

JO'C came to the Force because we were the only ones likely to give a then 17 year old a run. Giteau might of been a perk but the reality was money + change of game time = much better than any other offer.
