Totally agree Fulv
For our great Clubland folks, please feel free to write up a pre-season report on your Club, with player movements, likely 1st XV etc.
In forums you will find a sub-forum for each of the Clubs that have previously requested one. I'm sure Coach would be only too happy to create further sub-forums to accomodate any new scribes if PM'd to do so.
You can be sure that TWF faithful are craving some local insight (even the blatantly biased variety found in some newspapers...) on WA Clubland, so don't be shy!

Seem to recall making a big call about Genia a few years back too, and McCalman last year
Not saying he will go to NZ, but will be in the train-on Squad at least.
All are an indication, rather than premonition, that it doesn't really matter what club they are aligned to, it is still about Academy and Juniors, not the Seniors.

"We obviously have filled a couple of positions"
Just two Wanneroo recruits for 2011?
I think I've just seen a pig fly past my office window!!
RM - someone must have slipped some whiskey into your coffee this morning make you think there's flying pigs around!! lol
I said a couple of positions not a couple of recruits!! I can recruit 10 guys playing the same position!
It sounds like you know more than I do about our recruitment. Let me know how many guys I can expect - After all we do have a $750 000 budget to get through!
interesting draw, interesting team lists, Neddies still by and large the yardstick, its not the worrying about challenges its the meeting them, should be great competition, bring it on. Lets rumble.
i'd say longbottom won't be playing a lot of club rugby...
Looks great on paper having all these force players and fringe players, at your club but there must be a balance, at what stage does it have a negative impact on your home grown playing group.
The club players play thru the home and away, and as we have seen in past years, will have to make way for these players, and that is around about the finals time.
and a question for you all, what player is going to give everything he has, is it the player who has been there all year sweeting and bleeding (backs dont worry about the bleeding bit) for his team mates and club or the player who rolls in at the end when all the hard work has been done?
Let's say for example Kieran Longbottom (born and breed Rocky boy, player through the grades etc) hits it big time with the Force next year, plays every game for the Force then at the end of the season Rocky are in the finals and Kieron lines up for them after they have had "loyal clubman" playing his position all year.....would the same argument about Force players apply??

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.
