The boys should be up for this one mentally as they'll know they're in for a tough one. They won't be expecting to just turn up and get the first home win just like when the Saders came last year.Originally Posted by Dingles_69

I unfortunately can't make this one and will have to settle for watching on TV. So they're a lay down misere![]()
So long as we send TEF away.....

I'd contemplate swapping Cross and Stanners. Staniforth is wasted out on the wing. However should he be injured (I thought it looked to be more knee than hammy), I'd give Digby a bash at 14 (and leave Cross at 13)Originally Posted by Shaun

Depends whether Sharpe is fit because it appears we got some more injuries in the forwards.I think Hage Sare maybe the answer in the backs. If Shepherd is injured do we have another kicker?.
Yeah....a bloke by the name of Giteau....
Rumor control has it that Drew can kick quite nicely as well
Want to see Digby back to - we seem to nice in the back line at the moment
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
it will be close i hope we can get a good lead because the hurricanes are good in the last 15 mins so i hope we can hold them off.
it better not be a draw!!!!!
As good a time as any to play them, pretty ordinary tonight and injuries to Umaga and Nonu and the AB's still out.
I think they will rally and it will be close but we should have the edge provided we don't have too many injuries out of last night.

We will do it. Jazza a draw is better than a loss...
Every forwards dream is to become a back...
think this could be the one
Get Hilgy at 10 which will give us more options and Giteau more space
Welcome to the site Mike! I have to say i agree with you. I think Giteau is more destructive at 12, though Pelesasa is looking promising there, and Hilgy needs to get some more gametime. I still would love it if Stanners got a gig in the centres and Sheps at full-back but you can't have everything you want. On Friday we need to watch out for the Canes left winger, David Smith, he's powerful and he's extremely fast if he gets the ball so the obvious solution is DON'T LET HIM GET THE BALL!! :-D
Junior was weak in defense I think Stanners should change to #12 for this week if Nonu is back. If not put Gits in at #12. The paper today hints that it will be an unchanged backline.

By what I saw of Nonu I don't think we will be seeing him at Subiaco.
I think he will be out for some time.
Still haven't heard of how Stanners is, any report in the ST today?
If Stanners is out then will be a toss up between Jimmy and Haig for the Wing as I think Mitch has become too pig headed to make any changes and seems to want to prove a point. A point contrary to his adament pre-season talk that Giteau had come to WA to be a #12
I still say that Junior is only a bench player at this level and he has brought nothing that Stanners couldn't have done plus a whole lot more on top.
Equal highest try scorer, form Australian S14 Inside Centre, incumbent Wallaby Inside Centre and WF Player of the Year 2006, forgotten and neglected Wing 2007, what's he done wrong Mitch?
