...Queensland's Rob Simmons comes in to start at lock beside veteran Nathan Sharpe....

Had to read that twice before I realised what it said..and I chucked the computer out of the window...

Simmons is just a grub who specializes in off the ball niggle.

And no particular talent at rugby.

Some would call him a hard man and compare him to Simon poidevin. Anybody with an ounce of brain would call him a looky looky baaaaarstard.

I think Horne is sucking less than McCabe and higginbotham, mainly because he's seeing less ball, but still.....
McCabe is a useless waste of space and for the first time in my life I cheered what I thought was an injury early in the match because I knew it would force deans to put Harris or somebody else who can pass on.

    Horne and McCabe are plonkers.
Vuna has missed a few tackles already. AB's outside backs will tear him to shreds.

Wasn't great. Some very stupid kicking again. A la Force.
    WTF is going on?
Oz rugby has gone backwards under Dingo.
I used to be the biggest Dingo fan but I can't understand his tactics or is it that our guys can't understand him or are they to f'inf thick to understand.
Is this the Master Plan? He has been sent over by NZRU to destroy the ARU from with in

Credit where it's due. A lot of those blokes played Tuesday. Some of them have played 160 minutes with only 3 days in between. 15mins out they looked gone for all money with the Welsh launching wave after wave. But somehow they kept keeping on. It was the best use of the bench by Dingo for a while, I thought. The Welsh coach forced his hand there.

I'd start Anthony F next week. Was not impressed with Horne. Bam was everywhere again and seems to be growing into leadership on the field. Liked the way he spoke to Joubert last night. He's my MOM but just in front of Genia who had his best game in a while. His sniping was good last night off the back of an adequate forwards effort. His try was thanks to a brilliant bit of decoy running from Digby. Sharpie was close to MOM too. AAC had one of his better games for a while too. Very Solid and looked a threat when he ran it back at them.

Craig Joubert had a great game. He's miles in front of the rest. All referees should be told to watch tapes of the way he runs a game. Especially the way he talks to the players.

All in all a pleasing effort with plenty of room for improvement by next week. Can't wait to get to Etihad.

Shasta, what was he saying to the ref at about 65 mins in? looked like he was having a serious discussion. and then the ref turned around and spoke to the welsh about it straight away.
was a really positive site, as was bam still talking to sharpie.

Dunno but he had Joubert listening and maybe acting on it. If he continues like that he will be a great captain. Not like some we've had in the past decade who just got the referees offside. Sometimes to our detriment.

    Digby flattened

When Genia set off for his try he had Digby on his right shoulder. A Welsh player appeared to take him out without the ball in a no arms tackle which left him flattened. Did I just imagine it? There doesn't seem to have been a report and it wasn't mentioned after the game. If it happened as I thought I saw it there should have been a minimum of a yellow card.

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
