There's only one 7 mile beard
And you may think this is rubbish but the reason it isn't is because it makes sence to do it from a financial perspective to compete with afl and nrl in the west
A CEO who takes $800k for the naming rights etc as a band aid solution to keeping the place running
The results of the force and television ratings would see it be realised
And the way the sun wolves are playing will only add to the case
You seem to be all over rugby beard so come up with a sonically response to this
So you point out the negatives and demand change and a getting rid of coaches and players...leaving you with nothing and no actual plan or solution. That's the easy part.
Over-arching solutions are a lot harder, but folk are scrambling and the Force is here now and I want them to continue.
In the mean time, Hodgo goes to War every week with stitches in his face, the rest of the team follows suit. I back that.
Unfortunately the ARLC are far too inward looking at the moment.
The national footprint is one thing that The ARU has over the NRL at the moment. What's next if the Force get moved to West Sydney? Move the Rebels to Qld?
This would be a sign that the NSWRU aren't having much luck in Western Sydney, but as you quite rightly pointed out the Shute Shield sides already rape and pillage Western Sydney.
I often wonder whether the Brumbies might start setting their sights on Western Sydney.
Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
Friday night, nib, Force vs Brumbies, attendance 10,914
Saturday night, nib, Glory vs Mariners, attendance 11,127
Does anyone know what the attendance was at the Force vs Rebels match?
According to the AusStadiums site, the attendance figure for the Rebels game hasn't been published. It felt like there were more there for the Brumbies game.
For a city that has a population that's less than half that of Sydney, I think Perth definitely punches its weight in terms of crowd sizes for Force games. Again according to the AusStadiums site, the attendance at the SFS for the Tahs v Reds game this season was 24K. Given Sydney's population size and the star-studded, money-is-no-object team it has, the ARU should be impressed by how much support the game gets in Perth from the WA public! All the more reason, in my view, for the ARU to give RWA more financial support, not less!

Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
That might be a fair point Alison, but the ARU will only see that 24>10

All they will care about is how much dosh WA might be bleeding. They will have to balance that against how much a WA franchise and timeslot is worth in the next rights deal. And there is now another franchise filling that timeslot semi regularly. It probably has much, much more corporate clout too.
Western Force sells IP rights
When I see an organisation do something like this, it smacks of desperation and I immediately think "death spiral".
Currently the balloon was released to see if it would fly.
There has been no discussion whether the Waratah's would be cannibalized and weakened badly. What would the Waratah's be North East Sydney not NSW.
Leave Perth and ARU can not come back a NRC team won't be enough or sustainable.
the size of the crowd has nothing to do with it fox dont care if the stadium is empty they have the rights
