Great news, I personally would have preferred Peter Grant as he could cover centre as well, but it will be great to have a flyhalf that can boot clearances way into the other half and get some penalties that may have been out of Gits range, especially with the ELV's chnaging back to long arm penalties.

Great news, I'm sure mitch and the gang are alreadt planning the required training to get AP to pass more than he kick's.
How good will it be knowing we are going to get 75-80% of our conversions!
Can't recal his defence, is it solid?![]()
I'd bet its a 1 year with some option or other (hence its omission from the media statement).
Not an announcement that has me over the moon (cautious approach) but at the very least we have a capable flyhalf for a minimum one year and hopefully this will get Jimmy to commit soon.
Note to self - tonight surf YouTube for "Andre Pretorius".
That makes it two international players in a week, Dunning and Pretorious, things are looking brighter

well at least the team looks to be coming together again now,
This is some good news for the Force, Andre is a solid number 10 with experience. He has different ideas on how to direct a match and should help the backs develop behind our stronger new look forward pack.“Andre has a complete range of skills but he also possess a lot of leadership qualities and is highly regarded in South African rugby for the quality of person he is off the field,” said Hardy.
“He’s a game breaker with significant international experience and he can control a game, which is exactly what we were looking for in a number ten.”
Welcome Andre.

BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
Doesn't the Baa-baas game game count as a Wallaby Jersey Burgs?? I've never quite known.
(for Hodgson?)
Baabaas match was not a Test, so no Wallabies cap for Hodgson.
Welcome Andre....Great news..only to be hopefully topped by James making his mind up..
