Just saying, if Zack only saw real growth and opportunity in the East, the same must then be true of those I named. Let's just say that, all "what ifs" aside, it was coming to the Force that has given them the real growth they needed to become professional players...
OK, case in point, WA born and bred Will Brock.
Brocky played all his junior Rugby here, then went and played a little in the east and (I believe he followed through and actually went) most of this season in the UK.
He is now going to go to Samoa with the Force 2's.
If the Force don't sign him and he went to the Brumbies and got his first Super cap with them, who developed him?
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
You're starting to slip into old habits recently muddie - making up for Dry July?
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Time to go back under the bridge...
"Bloody oath we did!"

Nathan Charles wasn't even a Brumbies product. He spent a couple of minutes in their academy but is a Sydneyite. Canberra was like the roadhouse that he stopped off at for a minute on the way to where he actually wanted to go.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Charles was with the brumbies for a while, I don't mind that he went to the force and straight into the 22, thats a great start.... But you'll have to ask Graham why the force didn't sign Zack Holmes... Holmes isn't tested at S15 level he may have nothing, he may be good... who knows... has the forced signed any new players for 2012?
the Force would have had a good look at holmes, after all he was in the academy
Zaks biggest issue whilst at the academy was injuries. Played schoolboys and blew a shoulder, recovered and played for Soaks.... blew a shoulder.... played Force A... blew a shoulder. I think that the Force just figured that he may be too injury prone.
That said, Will Brock was the same... two years in the academy and almost always injured as were a whole host of others - its was a worry re the academy workload which they seem to have got right over time.
I hope that Zak does stay injury free and can chase his dream.. ending up back here in a year or two
