Jesus Christ, four of them! this should be interesting.

But I'm seeing this as a HUGE positive - Chucky's chance to shine at 10, bout time the guy got a chance. We've been disappointed tremendously by the current flyhalf (well, I have) and I'm excited for some new guys to come through. Opens up some options for what next years backline will look like.

So we might NOT thrash the Canes. But at least the 192457860239 changes in the backline might create a chance some attacking rugby? I'm forever hopeful.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

I suppose the question is, if not Swanepoel, then who? It seems to be either him, or someone who has never done it in anger before.

Looking at the list though, pretty good chance we'll be seeing a big hard runner at 12 for a change.

Actually in a bizarre way this could be a positive we've had to many of our back line have been hiding behind JOC so either they step up or real questions need to be asked my vote based on on-field activities would be Wykes for 10 Sheps long kicks Chucky short ( less pressure on either) Rory put on notice - no penalties or else but just let the game evolve and let's see what we have Run the blasted Ball and give the forwards a break - if defence is a breather

Stannard isn't injured and at this stage will play 10, a position he has some experience in,[ although not at this leve]l.
Combinations will be the big problem, with only a few days to work something out I expect a simple direct style of play from the backline with some unpredictability thrown in.
Good luck to them , they've got everything to gain and nothing to lose, a dangerous combination for the Canes and a selection headache for the coach when they win eh?

    A light under a bushel

The reality is it will be p1ssing down rain. It will be 10 man rugby which is the favoured tactic of the ex wallaby attack coach anyway. It plays into our hands.

Our pack has been strengthened. The backrow is worldclass. Sidey and Inman will be solid in center field. Delit to 10. Keep Stannard at 9. Back 3 Cullet, Sheps, Smith.

I think Delit would make a good 10 man rugby 10. He's very organised, has a good rugby brain, a ghood kicking game and has been seen to collect the ball at first receiver when he is playing 15.

Time for our much talked about backrow to make a statement. Get ready to rumble in the mud.

Stannard had a cork I think, but has recovered. Bit of a pain in the ass when you consider he only took the field for about 5 minutes.

Stannard didn't get on the field, Sheehan got a cork just above the knee at about the 20 min mark and played the rest of the game injured.

It sounds like Stannard wasn't able to play and Sheehan had to stay on. better to hobble than wobble

or having faith in what they have. having watched chucky the other week against wanneroo he most definately hasnt lost his touch when it comes to running at 10, shredded the line numerous times, hopefully this will be seen this weekend
