BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
Not really expecting the players who are playing at this outing ?? It will be interesting to see who is there

I reckon it will be those not in the playing squad. They'd probably be training or doing some sort or prep for the game. Good chance to encourage some of the young up-and-comers to re-sign for the future

How many are heading down for this - we reckon we'd be there about 10:30ish

The T-shirts is to small for me but I managed to get a T-shirt for the wife and a blue jumper for her as well
It was so good to see some of you guys again!
Always wonderful to see some familiar faces and was great to catch up and see how everyone has been.
The event itself was pretty well done I thought. Quite a few players there but really only the young fellas and the injured (Sheps, Cummins and Wykes) who were all posing for photos and signing things and were all really great with the fans.
There was also a sausage sizzle and some wine tasting and the store was packed! Have sold a lot of the pink jerseys and shirts apparently so that is fantastic news for breast cancer WA! I think it was such a fantastic idea and I'm so happy it's been so successful!
Again it was so good to see everyone who was there. Sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. I got chatting to my boyfriend's friends and Cameron and then bumped into Gerry and Josie in the store so didn't make it back outside until after 12 and everyone had gone.
Hope everyone had a good time too.
I made Happy sad...
Guess where Harry'll be taking me on Sat morning, then!
(Might have to buy him lunch as a bribe, though...)
