It's not sour grapes/poor losing or whatever you wanna call it. I think it's just really poor sportsmanship. They brought on guys that are in the 20s, that have played rep rugby back in NZ against guys in the 40s & 50s. For what? It's pretty pathetic mate. But if you think that practice is OK, then that's your prerogative. There are a number of WA clubs who routinely do this and it needs to be clamped down on. I don't ever recall Wanneroo dropping 4or 5 players 4 grades in order to win a game, especially when there is nothing at stake. In fact lower grade sides have missed out on finals spots because we have refused to load our teams. It's not fair on the opposition and it's not fair on the players that gets dropped. We would prefer to make the finals on our own merit rather than relying on loading teams. And in fact it is because of Rockingham that WARU implemented a new law. A few years ago their 3rd grade needed to beat Wanneroo to make the finals, so they dropped virtually their entire 2nd grade to 3rd grade, won handsomely and forfeited 2nd grade. They also only informed Wanneroo of the forfeit as they ran onto the pitch. Nice, away game too. If they did this now, they would lose points in all grades, including 1st grade.

Typical Rockingham. They have been stacking their 4th grade for years! Not many wins though.
Mustn't be very good at it I can't recall rockingham ever winning anything except when they played in the district comp maybe they should hop back there. But seriously if this is true sad reflection on rockingham

Maybe chertubler was alluding to the fact that Wanneroo 's sugar daddy is the biggest thief of other clubs players and as recently as two weeks ago he tried to entice Nedlands centre with an offer of match payments.Got told to piss off.

Paly were too physical up front ,we've copped that many injuries we had to start loosies in the backs but no excuses we jus got done and were probably lucky to get as close as we did,at halftime were down 21\3 are hoping to get back a couple of key players this week

I don't agree with poaching players either, but a separate issue and certainly beyond the control of players and team coaches. I don't know how prevalent 'recruiting' players from other clubs is, but it's probably something else that needs to be controlled, to a degree.
