17k members during one of the biggest economic downturns seen in decades sounds bloody good to me.
awesome-o
Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
Doubt it. By my reckoning there are about 14,600 seats available post upgrade, ignoring enclosed boxes. Of those, about 1,800 will be corporate so, assuming RWA only retains a 1,000 rather than the 6,000 previously, then we are back to ~12,000 members. Still not bad though.
I think we're probably talking the same numbers though Andy, I was doing season tickets, ie counting corporates, ARU allocations, RWA seats....the whole shebang. I seem to remember a number close to 17,000 for that last year, that included (IIRR) about 11,000 members.
so similar ways of quoting the same stuff. I personally prefer to see how many bums we'll have at each game, rather than how many of those bums paid for their own seat (can't think of a better way of colloquialising the term members, sorry if I offend).....each to their own I guess!
