Fulvio Sammut will Not have much to be proud of if he has Jinxed the Irish efforts with such an Outrageous suggestion !
Wash your mouth out with guinness
and make no mention of the Force on Friday either

This result was the only dampener of a otherwise excellent weekend of rugby. Tef, Jedi, Em get your boys up and running.
the punters friend..... stick with me and you will be wearing
Just hold them to a modest margin pleeeeeeaaassssse. A win would be fantastic for us but realistically, I hope they can do what they can.

And it's still mathematically possible, though unlikely, as wise old Sage points out.
TQO, you buy the Guinness, and I'll wash my mouth out in it,any time, although I prefer a Spumante or a Magners.
And I'll make no predictions on the Force.
Fulvio might have to buy you a midi and get an upgrade to a pint at JB's on Thursday then !

Fulvio, I'm not conceding the result against Italy (not just yet anyway), just that with the schedule it will be doubly difficult for Ireland to top the table. France and England will know what their target is before they play theri respective games later that day.Originally Posted by fulvio sammut
Agree that the 6N's is all the richer for Italys ability to compete and no longer just make up the numbers.
Flat-top I was being facetious, and I don't seriously rate Italy (not quite yet anyway) in the same league as Ireland. But like you I am pleased to see their dramatic improvement and competitiveness this year and have high hopes for their future, both by reason of my Italian descent and for the 6 Nations and Test Rugby as a whole.
I think Ireland will win, but not by a cricket score, but I don't think knowing the Irish score will have any effect on the England or France games. After all they can only play as well as their opposition allows them to, and neither of their opponents is going to roll over easily.
Good luck to all and may we see some first class rugby.
