The laws are doing exactly what they are intended to do...encourage charitable donations without the government getting involved. Puts more money in circulation than having the government decide winners and losers from tax revenue.

Ain't Twiggy's motherhood statements grand.
Pity about the reality which doesn't always eventuate as envisaged.
But don't worry, you folks south of the river.
Twiggy has a you-beaut solution for all your problems.
It's called the Indue card.
With the money you save not being able to buy smokes and drinks with your Centrelink entitlements, you'll be able to afford football boots for your kids (from approved retailers only of course-Harvey Norman shoe department comes to mind).
Saint Twiggy of the Discalced thinks of everybody and everything, especially the welfare of you and your kids.
Selfless. Totally selfless.
No-one else stepped up after the Force was shafted by RA.
Do you have a better/more effective solution for developing from the grass roots in Perth?
That's more than a single club solution.
Perhaps others will step up just because Forrest trying to make a difference despite copping this kind of tall poppy BS.
If Andrew Forrest did nothing he'd be slagged, when he steps up he gets slagged.
Sadly some people appear to not know how to be happy!
Moving forward.........................

I reckon RugbyWA has done a pretty good job of getting schools involved in heartland and North and South growth corridors (15 with 3 more to come.) Watch North Coast and Coastal Cavs/or maybe a new South Coast Phoenix takeoff!
Other clubs need to support RugbyWA's reaching out to local schools.
Need another school in the North, one near Perth Bayswater and one near Kalamunda and job done for 2022.
Andrewg, and what's your assessment of the Indue card?
Do you and Twiggy have one?
I know a rugby school near Kalamunda is of earthshattering importance, but perhaps considerations of human dignity merit some mention on that scale?
Frankly, since Forrest became involved in it, rugby has been dead to me.
And you can plant your tall poppy where the sun don't shine.
One could speak in general terms about the south-of-the-river clubs being pretty goshdarn non-competitive over the past few years and their apparent removal being an attempt to make the Premier comp more regularly competitive. This would not be a surprise in a "helicopter view". How it translates to those affected is a different story, and there must be acknowledgement of how hard they have tried. They have no helicopter view because of the nature of their club loyalty. Hopefully RugbyWA have a plan on how to develop the southern regions in order to attain premier grade competitiveness, and hopefully they will announce it to all and sundry, and even more hopefully the Premier clubs will actually get on board with the plan without plotting ways to attract the southern talent to their own club.
You don't have to agree with the way Twiggy makes some of these announcements but I think a few people have forgotten that rugby in Western Australia would have gone back to the dark ages without Twiggy's $$. I cant remember any other person wanting to put in the funds required to restart rugby in Western Australia after the force were cut and RugbyWA went into administration.
I doubt that has much to do with people's dislike of certain political matters in question here. Although AF's been known to over-egg such things right back to his early forays into resources.
I have strong views on some matters too but I'll keep those opinions to myself on here. For anyone who can't balance those sort of misgivings against the good things he's done, that's OK. But probably better taken up in a politics forum.
I definitely count efforts to get Rugby programs in more & more schools in the "good" column.
If this is correct hard to understand your ongoing contributions.
I'm sure Paly's missing your presence and support.
I'm happy to honour the purpose of the site as The Western Force Supporters Site and feel no need to comment on random opinions re unrelated matters.
Without AF I strongly doubt there would be a WF. I dont agree with everything that AF does or has done in the past and I doubt I need or am expected too.
I expect that there are a lot of people happy with the investment and a lot of people that disagree with they way it is or will be distributed. I just hope that as intended there are more development opportunities for young west Australian juniors.
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
