Man up and get Foxtel
FTA is so last century
Controversy corner
I know most of you don't give a rat's but I will be interested to see how Channel Nein will treat the regular Friday night NRL matches - Foxtel only has replay rights ATM. Bugs me no end when I've coughed up for pay TV and still can't watch live.![]()

Possibly in Brisbane, but if Perth gets chatty chatty bloody bang bang instead of a wallabies test, you can bet your ass they won't get live NRL on any channel!

Ah jeez, that is the whole point of anti-siphoning legislation change, to get sports like the NRL and AFL onto the multi channels, it hasn't been done previously because they weren't allowed to do it...
The only thing which will prob happen is it could get delayed a bit so the match is moreso in prime-time rather then 5:30pm in the afternoon...which they are more the allowed to do
Not when they don't show it

I give a rats - I'd much rather watch that then 7's AFL coverage. It will be interesting to see how this affects TV negotiations though because if Nine has both AFL and NRL on Friday the codes might find that problematic.
As it is the Wallabies fill in a nice little gap for Channel 9 on Saturday nights next year.
