Nice work Burgs. Now we need a 10.

But he has no coaching experience. But, as Sharpie is off back to the Banana Republic, he would make a great set piece coach and an even better team motivator.
Oops! Shoulda read down the page - Scotty beat me to it.
Bam is the No1 priority. The other pieces of the puzzle will fall into place once he inks a contract.

"The main difference between playing League and Union is that now I get my hangovers on Monday instead of Sunday - Tom David
Mariano Galarza - disagree has caps means him or Napolioni Nalaga as Marquee player
a lock, two 9s, a 10, a 12 and a 15.
I think internally lock Wykes and Battye to step up with two to contract 1+ a rookie contract to Aus 20 (Stolberg, Cummins and Blake Enever from 2011 Aus 20)
two 9's - Holmes and Matt Lucas
10 Ben Lucas Could be available currently third string 5/8 and back up half. Nick Frisby is coming. Take both brothers as a package.
You have time to evaluate Tyrone Lefau. Or Apo Latunipulu or Mitchell Felsman or Ben Volavola or Rohan Saifoloi
Dave Harvey
Still have foreign spot available for non capped
Sam Lane one game Reds he may be worth evaluating.
I like it Emu but cant see Ben Lucas ever leaving Queensland.
I understand that point but I rate Frisby as a half back and he received 2011 best player in QRU comp and if Lucas is to develop it may be time to move. Harris is in front of him to back up Cooper. He is now pushing 25 and it is good to be loyal but to be a Wallaby will need to be a starter soon. Fighting for scraps with Jono Lance won't be much fun as generation next comes along.
I think it's safe to say Ben Lucas has pretty much missed the Wallaby train, he's only a year younger than Quade and therefore won't be thinking too much about national selection. He won't conceivably make a starting side in which Quade is fit and Quade won't leave Queensland for any other rugby franchise. If Ben is locked into Queensland there aren't many possibilities as to why.
1 loyalty......yes, it does exist these days
2 he doesn't rate himself as anything more than a backup
3 he thinks Quade will cash in his chips soon and make a play for the Eurodollar or league.
Can't think of any other reasons
C'mon the
I liked Sam Lane too, but that Tomane try for the Brumbies was off a missed tackle by him. You could certainly do a lot worse but it would be more ideal if we could get an experienced 10. Otherwise we have Kyle Godwin, Ben Seymour and Sam Lane and all inexperienced. Although maybe Kyle Godwin could be considered more the 15. Or we could look to recruit an experienced play making 12 to take some of the pressure off those young guys.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
I just watched the reds game and didn't think he was anything special, maybe a hair in it over seymour, but if we're buying someone in, i'd want a whole lot more than him. Mike Harris looks the goods, but not Sam Lane

Pretty much what I meant Burgs, along with that, he won't be able to play his style in any other rugby franchise and the money won't line up. Queensland need him far more than anybody else (even with our problems at ten) and with the contracting rules being the way they are now he'll make more money in NRL or Europe.
C'mon the
really...??? never seemed to have stopped franchises, people and businesses before
hmm Ben Cousins*, Brendan Fevola, Matthew Johns, Shane Warne, Sam Newman, Kyle Sandilands have all shot their mouth off or something up their arm yet they still, or have potential to, command a job, contract or sponsorship
NEVER underestimate the power of money!
*until recently lol
