I'm no fan of booing/jeering/abusing the opposition when they haven't played for us, but booing past players? As if Drew's going to pay attention or care what the people of Perth have to say to him, he's here for a few days and gets to leave it behind at the end of the night. Like it or not he played for us and obviously some people hate/dislike/don't respect/can't stand the bloke, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it but put your efforts into something constructive and support our team.
Its professional sport and its naive to think that player's don't want what is best for them. Yes, occassionaly a genuine team-player comes along and wants what is best for the team but its rare. Accept what's happened and move on. Focussing your attention on supporting the Force will go much further in spurring them along then booing/jeering/abusing the opposition will.

Pfft.... No one hates Drew, they just hate him scoring, and after last weeks efforts if he does even get a little put off his game all the better for the Force.
No one suggested booing either.
"Drew Smells Like Ladies Deodorant" was quite funny I thought![]()
we should all take johnsons baby powder and when ever he walks past.. puff some in the air...
From the insults to players ive heard this season i wouldn't be encouraging more of it. If people have to be hell funny, then shout at the tahs fans because at least they can hear you. And there have been no fights yet, what sort of rectangular stadium is this.
like they have at the liverpool soccer (sorry football) club with the big jersey that goes thru the hands of the supporters, maybe we the force should have one that says something along the line of "mitchell F*** off to your sydney slums" or "you did more in 80 minutes last week than you did for 2 seasons with us".
Ok team, too far. I've had enough of reading this stuff. I'm all for Drew being hammered by say Tyrell or I dunno, Sheehan in a whomping tackle, or someone walking into his whimpy excuse of a tackle to the tryline in the dying seconds, but Drew Must Die? Are you JOKING!? We are a supporters forum, not an ex-players-abusers forum. Please. It's starting to look like the symptoms of a major sour grapes case.
Only comment worth crediting![]()
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

Some very nasty comments here... shame on you...thats not the ruby community I know...
I'm with robyn on this;
We shouldn't throw things at, or verbally abuse Drew, because violence against women is wrong!

Drew will self destruct if the Force play the game smart. The ball on the ground bothers him. He likes to take a peak at whoever is coming to belt him. The ball in the air protects him off the ground when he jumps. The ball at his feet brings in the fumbles, the peaky boo, and allows you to get a really good shot on him, belt him and drive over and use the boots on his arms that are holding desperately to the ball.
The bloke is a nancy
I hope his pretty little face has closed eyes and blood evacuating several orifices
Belt the w@nker
Now in my moleskin trousers and my Williams boots
Aboard an outlaw as he leaves the chutes
In my goose neck spurs I rake their fiery hide
And the girls all shouting around the ringside
Oh he's the Fulla from Cunnamulla
Yeah he's the Cunnamulla Fulla
I don't care if its Drew Mitchell or any other rugby player, how can someone honestly say "... must die' or "I hope his pretty little face has closed eyes and blood evacuating several orifices" or "if Pek did rip his head clean off, would any of us cry".
I really hope its a joke because seriously, that's just messed up to wish on anyone, rugby player or not. Fair enough it started as a joke but its gone too far and no im not being precious, its just not funny anymore.
Jokes aside, I hope someone gives him a smack
