No no no!! Don't blame him!!! He came to us when we were desperate and saved our bacon. I am sure he is doing his best in a competition perhaps just beyond him.
Blame the idiots who have placed too much pressure on him and ruined his confidence. Putting him at 10 was worth a shot when Chucky went down, but to keep him there all this time when it was clear he wasn't up to it was not fair on him or the team. He had a deadly look of concentration before, almost couldn't miss. Now he's got the yips. What about some man management ?
To sign him beyond this season was also the imbecilic work of the same idiots

If his tweet post game was anything to go by, he is feeling very sorry for himself. On his birthday too
I feel sorry for him as well. If he's been 'over promoted' that's the selectors' fault, not his.

rugby WA has a lot to answer for signing him on for another year.
He was bought in as a gap filler, no more.
He's an ok player but he is not S15.
May the FORCE be with you!
I haven't collectively decided anything, but I hope he isn't injured as on that performance he deserved to get hooked, probably ten minutes sooner. Not up to this level, re-signed far too soon.
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Didn't look like injury when he walked past us.
If I had been him I would have had a real bad limp!
May the FORCE be with you!
I hope he doesn't read TWF

Yeah, sorry for him, but when you play Super Rugby, you have to expect your performances to be shredded in the public eye. He'll certainly have that done by the rugby club on Thursday night.
C'mon the![]()

I'm sure he's doing the best he can. Not everyone can be the next Kurtley Beale. And as someone else said earlier, he did get us out of a hole earlier in the season.
If any player reads a fans' forum, they must be nuts!!
I'm not a fan of supporters being overly critical of their team or it's players, especially when it starts getting a little bit personal. That said DH, is not S15 material and should not have been resigned. Some of the Force scouting/recruiting is a little bit mystifying to be honest.
And as a side topic - how good is Beale looking at 10, beautiful long flat passes!
Do you really think Harvey takes the field - or any of the boys for that matter - with the intention of just cruising?
Right now these champions are hurting. The press is bad, the coach they believed in 3 months ago has done the dirty, crowds are down, rumours fester on bad news.
This is the time, they need some space and support. I reckon if you were a fly on the wall during their recovery session today, you'd go find the Mortien and spray yourself.
As supporters - we need to support and not cut down young blokes who are doing their best. C'mon get constructive and criticise in private and praise in public.

I like Harvey, I am grateful he came to us in an hour of need, I was delighted he extended beyond the 4 game short term contract, I liked his nerve with the boot, and I wanted to give him a chance at 10 to see what he could do. He had an off game yesterday, even with his normally reliable boot. I think he has been sorely used, putting him in a position it has been found is beyond him and keeping him there. Its not his fault he was offered a contract beyond this year.
I don't blame David at all. I like him, much as a I like Batholomeuz, as a squad player who can play his part when called upon.
We signed David from outside of the EPSs to help us as injury cover - he must realise than when the injured players get back to fitness he'll be back on the bench/in the stands. He wasn't signed as cover for Stannard - he went down after Harvey got here.
I've no problem with Harvey signing for next year, either. He's here for injury cover, to provide an experienced head for the younger lads, and if he's not picked he can be a star in local rugby(which club is he affiliated to?) and hopefully identify/develop some club players (which is what any Force player playing in club rugby should be doing).
