Not last week
i don't think either side was barking much before the game though
thanks for the replies!
At least the Force are winning games - unlike the Dragons! Any Dragons supporters are pretty loyal - lets face it - they haven't won a premiership since the 70's! Hopefully this year will see the Force in the Top four at the right end of the season.
I must say, I am a rugby man first, league second. I can't find too many endearing things about AFL, although I have won a few trophies playing indoor soccer, so can handle the round ball game (even if they are soft.............)/
If the WA Reds do get going, I would certainly support them, just as I have with the WA Cricket team.
eeeeewwwww WA cricket team![]()
Jargs, as a fellow WACA member, all I have to say is GO THE WARRIORS
Welcome PP, a fellow eastern states man myself(Wagga and then Sydney), also an ex Tahs man, although still support them when not playing the Force, and i am an EELS man myself, me old man is a saints man...
This is a great forum and you can meet a lot of us if you visit JB's for a pint on match days, actually probably most days as well...
Proudly bought to you by a brewery somewhere....
I think i'm the only WACA member who enjoys going down to the cricket to see the Warriors lose (which happens frequently). Go the Blues (pura cup champions)
welcome PP to twf

There is a lot of ex-pat Sydney peeps around. We are sneaky.
PP as you are a neutral observer of Saturday, what's your big tip?
Who is going to win?
Brother Gallagher I hear you
80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?
Ruck Me, Maul Me, Make Me Scrum!
Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
And who knocked you out at the SCG in the semis in 1967 after the famous 11 straight? I'll give you a hint.........
Not that I remember things like that or ever remind Saints supporters of it.
The WA Reds have got up and so far are still going. They've had two close away defeats to Chester Hill and Erina. Most of the squad are WA origin players and should be very hard to beat at home. First home game is the weekend of the Force/Reds match. Something to watch for those not going to Brisbane.
Ah - the magic question?
We have some serious round the ruck issues (so any WF coaching staff please note!). The Bulls certainly troubled us there, especially slowing the ball down. This negated any advantage that Gits had at first reciever. I did like some of the lines the boys were running - although using Staniforth as a decoy to throw to Cross can become predictable.
But as a forward, I think that Bam Bam really needs to stamp some authority over Phil Waugh. He had on OK game last week, and really needs to up the ante. If we win the forward struggle (and be assured that Link will have drummed this into the Tahs) then the backs can not only hold their own, but prove that our back line is the best option for the Wobblies.
Big call - Force by 5 - and no score in the last 20 mins.
