Well I suppose its to late now to sign anyone else. We will just have to hope young Ryan and Ben can step up to S14 quickly. Many a time being thrown in the deep end does bring about the right results. Lets hope these 2 have got it!

It's never too late Snobs, remember BC's contract was pretty late (admittedly not THIS late) and we save the spot for whoever we can find, we'll be able to play them instantly.

Given how well our scrum performed in South Africa I don't know if we really need another hooker. Or at least someone from the Shute Shield would do in case of injury to Ben or Ryan.

with a squad that's short, they could keep their eye on somebody in the Shute Shield and pull him in if there's an injury.

I'd suggest there's either a plan for what to do after Parsons, or they think their young fellas are def the goods and will promote from the academy if needed.

The latter would say a helluva lot about Matty Tink as a scrum coach!

interesting to see who was wearing the number 2 jumper at the photo shoot. But when I asked Tinky if I can use that as an hint as to who the hooker will be his answer was that the hooker positions is up for grabs. If the young ones wants it they must show that they want it.

Can't recall if they were home or away, I know the Sharks was the alternate stip.

Well all I can say is that, as my old dad used to say, a verbal contract isn't worth the paper it is written on. I mean seriously, what stops Parsons saying "Yes, I absolutely agreed to play for Harbour - for $50,000". I'd have to say, if I was Parsons and being denied the opportunity to play at the top level by my semi-pro club, my enthusiasm for the club might just be a bit, um...off.
