how about pro-bono...you write down your thoughts and I'll tell you you're purging yourself without any incrimination or personal cost.

GIGS did you just give up something? I'm fine with the board. O'Meara is the one I have a problem with...The others are sheep...

It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa

Doesn't spound very flattering to me.......and if you have a problem with O'Meara....fine, keep your problem with him and post it on a forum which actually has something to do with O'Meara. AFAIK the Force have absolutely NOTHING to do with im any more.

Personally, I don't think O'Meara did too much wrong, but then I'm not privy to the details of everything that went on in the board meetings, so you seem to have the wood on me there. O'Meara went out and assisted some third party deals.....apparently something that wasn't uncommon in the other provinces, but O'Meara seemed to be a bit more - umm - aggressive, let's say. OK downright cynical.......but he was trying to build a programme in a non-rugby-heartland state, and he seems to have deliberately stretched every loophole he could find to make it work.......Yes, that was bad.....I agree....but was it deserving of such vitriol? Well, not from me!

You might want to bash the Force forever and a day over the Peter O'Meara years, but really that attitude is at odds with your flimsy assertion that you want to see the force succeed, it appears that what you really want is for the force to suffer a bit more....purge every single thing Peter O'Meara did (even the good things) and survive as a fourth rate wannabe rugby team competing for the scraps that the Eastern state teams throw them and Sydney club rugby (OK I'm paraphrasing a bit...did you notice? I'm sure you can cope, drawing inferences out of your ass seems to be OK with you)

I on the other hand think that the board are doing a pretty good job of cleaning house. Greg Harris seems like a good bloke, he's been pretty open about some of the problems we're facing and has even written an open letter to members about it, so should we continue beating on the board for making a mistake, or should we move on because they seem to be making good decisions now......oh and putting together a pretty bloody good rugby club which operates at a profit and ls really very competitive considering our age.

    I vote for the latter.

Don't bother twisiting my words, I probably won't reply (i can be a prick like that!)

    regards

Thanks GIGS for your honesty... I’m apologies that I had to torment you to get it. Finally today people have told me their real thoughts.

Australia needed another S14 and we all had to suffer to make it happen and that’s fine by me. I like the Force and I also think CEO Harris is a good addition and can resort respect and build a stronger club.

I have no interest in twisting your words just getting an honest response and you did that well....cheers

Oh but thats just spin Jargs....cant you tell.....or even contribute??

    3 lines....thats all I ask....

You had 3 lines of beer up at the 141? and did you finish them? Did you need a firepower pill?

These....and many other questions need to be raised.

Did the board of Lion Nathan sponsor you?

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

I'm glad you asked that. Because yes they did, and they have failed to pay me out my entitlements. Hence why I am mad at the RugbyWA board. You see RugbyWA employs John Mitchell from New Zealand, and I noticed a few Kiwi beers in that line up, one of which they sponsored me to drink "Lion Red".

Now I am not angry at Lion Nathan for not delivering on its promises, that would be introducing logic and a degree of common sense to the situation, I choose to hate RugbyWA on the basis that they employ John Mitchell, who probably knows somone thats drinks Lion Red on a more regular basis, so therefore would be in a better position to speak with the board of Lion Nathan as he is a Kiwi
