Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
The timing of these articles is what puzzles me the most. I mean, it's still only September 2008. Most, if not all, s14 teams aren't even in pre season mode yet. A decision like the one that Giteau faces in terms of his future won't be made untill towards the end of next season. If he was going to leave, then he wouldn't want to go into next season with question marks over his commitment hanging over him. Of course there's going to be wild speculation about the future of the best player in Australia, who wouldn't want to sign him? But, meh, whatever sells papers i s'pose.
As for the 'lock the door'comment, i'd be disappointed if the leadership group didn't take control of the situation for the good of the team. That's what being a leader is all about afterall.
I'm over all this....stay-leave I don't care. Just don't say you're gunna stay, your word is your bond you want to deal and then sign for the other guy, that will forever be anathema to me won't it Digby?

i think gits is over it too. i dont believe any of this came from him and i reckon he's just as fed up with all these stupid rumours as we all are...
