Keep him and make him better...I think next season he will have a lot more competition form the 9 jersey. Sam's gone, George is gone, and Henjak is gone (did the ARU give Henjak a date he could return to an Australian S14 team or not? surely it wasn't a life time ban... Burgess timing has been lucky... Josh Holmes is primed to have a good S14. VAlentine has a one year contract to impress and Lucas at the Reds shows promise. One of these guys will be a Wallabies half even if they're the second...
Said it elswhere but Matt Henjak must be really kicking himself at the moment. Should have been partnering his best mate in the Wallaby halves right now. Perhaps it's not too late for him. Back to Canberra to rustle up a partnership with the skipper during two S14 seasons before RWC 2011?

Summarising mine from the other thread, I think he jsut needs a week off to chill out a bit.
He is known as a deep thinker and particularly hard on himself, maybe he needs to lighten up briefly.
Certainly think he is still the best option at the moment though.
Both in the scrum and breakdown our Forwards are not respecting the security of the ball enough and too often in rcent matches it goes beyond the last feet leaving the Scrumhalf totally isolated. There needs to be a far greater awarness of where the ball is so as to keep the defenders back until it is ready to pass.
Bring back Hennas.

Henjak was definitely the solution to Gregan's absence

Henjak was likely at the Stadium as he is in France...Dose many one know how long JON has banished Matty Henjak?
Additionally his agent did approach the Brumbies but they were happy with their lot for now and Henjak was red hot. But since have picked up Stannard for a one season deal. They got 3 halves Josh Holmes, Patrick Phibbs and James Stannard. Who knows Henjak was keen to be a Wallaby there was just one Snare got in his way…
His punishment was for too long, bring back Matt I say...Will the Force take him back?
Thanks...I hope he comes back to OZ for a few seasons and gives it a good shot...
Will the Force take him back?
Pretty confident the majority of Force supporters would.

I doubt the force would take him back, we have already recruited in the halfback possie and i am thinking the club may still be sensitive to resigning him...

Burg...thats good to hear... It would be too much punishment to contract him to the Reds or the Tahs...
Just back on Burgess - in his defence (although I believe he has played 2 shockers against the poms and France) - he was injured during the Tri Nations and did not play before this tour. He was outstanding before his injury and has come back with out that sharpness and decisiveness that market his play previously. i think he is just out of form and needing matches and confidence.
Having said that I would like to see Sam starting next week. the team looked decidedly better when he came on.
