Sorry, I can't have been perfectly clear, I wasn't trying to say he was a donkey, that would be an insult to any self-respecting rugby playing donkey. I was trying tho say he's as soft as a lemonade sandwich. A donkey would be a godsend to replace Hannigan, are we allowed to field a backrow exclusively populated with donkeys? They'd be harder at the breakdown than the current jelly-spined crew

Have to feel for Rona. Sure he got a lesson, but only one year in pro Rugby - at 13. Sure he was a gun winger in the NRL but he had Tim Lafai and Josh Jackson on his inside. Two of the best right edge defenders in the game. Never had to think twice in defensiv decisions. Just another Wallaby picked out of position. Thanks Coach.

I was thinking, how many of the Force backs have been picked out of position for the Wallabies?
Giteau was a 10 for us and played at 12 for the Wallabies
JO'C was a 10/12 for us and played as winger for the Wallabies
Mitchell was a winger for us and a full back for the Wallabies
DHP is our full back, but a Wallaby winger
Rona is a centre, but a Wallaby winger
The Honey Badger and Morahan played the same position (although sometimes on the wrong wing).
Shep and Staniforth played multiple positions for both club and country, so can't really include them.

Cheika's out-of-position selections are reminding me of John Hart

Does Hooper count as one of those out of position selections?
He might be picking people that he reckons he can rely on i.e. Moore & McMahon (neither will feature soon enough) for the TRC campaign, but where's he gonna turn to for players that need 25+ caps before they touch down in Japan in '19
Get boring old Jake White in now.

Rona at least got some game time on the wing with us, even if he wasn't picked there.
The great Jack Gibson's theory was pick the best players available and find a position. But I don't think he meant in their first international match.

The biggest joke is that Stephen Moore is still there.
And they need to get rid of this joke of hiding players in defence and having midgets at the back (Foley) trying to catch the high balls.
They need to have Meakes or Hunt (if fit) or Hodge in at 12, at least they can tackle and then a back 3 of Folau/DHP and Beale with preferably DHP at 15. Or keep speight on the wing and give Beale another crack at 10 and get rid of Foley. I know Beale has been tried at 10 and failed but he seems to have matured a bit now and I can't see us ever being a world class team with Foley at 10.
Taf should be starting. Hanigan out. Robertson out of the 23. Timani in, even at 6 if you want to persist with McMahon (which I would't...).
Maybe even Beale at 10 with Meakesy at 12.
Chiek, you're a muppet.
