I'm undecided at the moment. I have accommodation in Hamilton, but with the idiots organising it so that the matches bounce all over the bloody country the logistics of co-ordinating multiple tickets/travel/overnight accommodation will be daunting to say the least.
I booked a campervan last August to follow Scotland from Invercargill, Dunedin, Christchurch ending up in Auckland. BTW, if you are looking to get a campervan be quick because some companies were fully booked for the world cup 20011 last year.
Just happy to be here
Think i will have to opt for the fly in fly out option. Everything will be bloody to expensive over there during the cup
Generally speaking you arent learning much if your lips are moving!!!
Yep, it looks like you will have to get in quick for a camper van, some of the sites I looked at didn't have much available.
Some websites and examples of prices: newzealand-motorhomes.com Dates 8th - to 20th Sept 2011 2 Berth with shower/toilet NZ1755 4 Berth with S/T NZ 2235
rentacampervan co. nz same dates, 2 Berth with S/T NZ1008, 4 Berth with S/T 1197
Other options are wickedcampers and backpackercampervans.co.nz
What happened to the good old days of mad rush last minute planning?!
Bloody hell, anything could happen between now and the RWC![]()
