Are they denying it? It would be pretty moronic of them if they were. There is very little club loyalty in pert, primarily because a lot of players aren't Perth born n bred and therefore have no affinity with a local area and club. So they go where the money is. A few years ago Uni bought virtually the entire Kalamandu 1st grade. I'd be gob smacked if Nedlands peeps were suggesting players were coming to them for reasons other than money.
I wouldn't change clubs for money!
the only time i have played for another club is when i did a couple of seasons overseas - travelling is different, so i can see how people who aren't from here can easily be lured around with nice incentives! i know this topic is aimed at Nedlands, but every club would try to get more players to their club any chance they get... it's just that some offer more for the player than others - and this doesn't just relate to money. There are many different aspects you look at when deciding where you want to play e.g location, club culture, coaching, past history etc and everyone has different wants and needs.
Gee Zed the roodogs would be laughing at the pitiful amounts of dosh being bandied about.

What a joke, so one club lost more games than they won, but still outdid kalamunda on the ladder so they must have bought all the kala players over? Wow Im convinced. Now I played in this team in the best season finish Uni (prior to 2011) had since 1997, we finished 6th (wow) won the first 9 games of the season and then disintegrated to finish 6th, I can guarentee that every player in that squad had been at Uni for many years, we had a new coach and even he was a Uni man for years before he coached 1st grade.
Whats frustrating to me in this is that players, supporters or administrators of clubs that have no knowledge of the workings of other clubs contribute baseless comments with assumption or heresay as their research. Morons speaking to be heard, if you must speak make it worthwhile and factual.
Hmmm, last years Uni team was near as damn it all a bunch of guns for hire and traitors from other clubs paid.
That wasn't a rumour, that is a fact.
