If its Sharpie and Poey that's fine but if as stated the other day about players wanting to interview the coach that doesn't sound right to me.

i dont think they players will have anything to do with the interviews (except maybe bam and sharpe) all the force did was say to the candidates that if they wish to address the team as part of thr interview then they can do so.

The players input is through the player rep (ie: Spanner) and Bam.

I'm not sure about anyone else out there but I certainly don't get a say in who my boss is.

Sharpie is spot on - this is what any club anywhere wants from their coach whether it be Super 15, State or Club coaching.

Getting all characteristics in the one person is where the challenge comes in.

How much (if any) input from the player group is another discussion again.

yup, although winning is obviously vital especially to a success starved team, the thought of "winning ugly" leaves me cold inside, and has never been the WA way. The coach needs to be a magician and come up with a WA way AND a successful way.

Mitchell almost had it, the style was spot on, results not so. He was hampered by start up with player quality and cohesion especially in the forwards. And also by his personality, perhaps not getting the best out of what he had?
