Maybe it was the AB's at the WACA getting mixed up with the Lions at Perry lakes as you suggest Sheikh, don't have the poster at hand to check but it was the '89 tour for sure.
Cool poster too, will have to try and find it.
They handed them out to schools I think.
"Bloody oath we did!"

any more news on fixtures? Brother lives in Melbourne for 25 years - its time to visit
Cant wait for this set of matches - Lions tours are always fun and great to watch and to have them play the Force will be fantastic. Get the song sheet out.. Waltzing O'Driscoll was a great on from the 2001 tour.
Last night Fox showed the three tests from 2001 on FS3. Keep a look out for a repeat. Well worth watching and a great advert for those who don't know what a Lions tour is all about.
See you on the east coast. Might have to come back to Perth and impose on the parents for the Perth game

Hey guys,
One of the people I chat with on Twitter has started a blog for the Lions tour next year and is writing a piece on what the Lions should expect when they play the Force (!)
If any of you are interested in contributing or commenting, the web address is lionsblogger.wordpress.com and his twitter handle is @lions_blogger
His is a Welshman :-))
Am sure the tourists would love a tour of JBs while they're here!!

I think it will be a little bit like that movie Cool Runnings.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
British and Irish Lions coach Warren Gatland has revealed Jonny Wilkinson could be handed a surprise call-up to the squad for next year's tour to Australia despite having retired from international rugby.
Gatland was quoted as saying by several Sunday newspapers:..."What is important if they are not playing international rugby is that they have to be coming from a side that is performing particularly well.''
am a welsh man who is desperate for 2 tickets to each of the test games next year. I am looking for a superclub member who is not going to be taking their allocation of 4 for each test. is anyone able to help a proud welshman who has saved for 4 years for this lions trip please.
