We've had 2 (plus me) join the TWF Movember group so far....
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Do you think the school would allow it should I convince them its purely for charity reasons?
they should...........however im basing this on nothing what so ever![]()

Effectively, by asking the school to allow you to grow the mo, you're asking the school to support Movember as a concept. You can only be sure you're going to be successful if you write something that's so bloody good that the most conservative member of the board instantly goes out and forces his kids to sign up.
The school will want answers to questions such as, 'How do we stop this becoming an excuse for every ugly mongrel in the school not bothering to shave for a month?' and 'How do we make sure this fine upstanding member of our school community doesn't come to school looking like he just crawled out of the drip tray at the local?'
Believe it or not, these things are important to private schools and you'll need to provide answers to these questions before they're asked, since the more money you pay to wear the school tie usually translates to a much quicker answer in the negative.
Shame the Movember campaign doesn't relate so directly to male YOUTH health issues. It'd be a pretty easy sell at that point.
Perhaps you could propose yourself as an organiser for a school effort in mostaciousness or something.
Good luck stickin' it to the Man buddy!

the punters friend..... stick with me and you will be wearing
It'll be all about the way you word it Matty and the approach you take. If you spin the charity line and they deny it then they'll have to justify why they're not supporting charity....

are you growing one?
any school should be open to the idea if its for charity. i cant really see them saying no if all the proper chanels are gone through. teachers and principals etc are not completley unreasonable.
