U15s final score
ACT 90 - SA 0
At halftime in u17s
ACT 12 - SA 8
U17s final score
ACT 43 - SA 8
Two days into our "see most of NSW from a bus window" tour has the squad outside of Tamworth tonight.
Last night we played Sydney South Harbour and lost both u15s and u17s games 51-17 and 22-5 respectively. Tonight, we had two heartbreaking losses v Northern Inland 24-17 and 22-19. We travel to Newcastle to play Hunter tomorrow afternoon. The Sydney and Brisbane teams have no idea what WA and SA are going through at the moment.
WA boys doing well in QLD. After 4 games in 5 days the results are as follows:
U15
Central Qld 5 def by WA 36
Brisbane Yellow 7 def WA 6
Gold Coast 13 def WA 7 (not sure about this score but WA up by a point until 3 min from end)
North Coast 17 def by WA 27
U17
Central Qld 8 def by WA 21
Brisbane Yellow 7 def by WA 33
Gold Coast 7 def by WA 15
North Coast 5 def by WA 32
Both teams only have Brisbane Pink left to play. A win by U17 would see us into a home semi final.
I am not sure the ARU budgeted for anything other than a Bris/Syd final ... Oops.
I so want WA and Vic to finish top in their pools, as a shake up to the competition
Our games yesterday v Hunter went 34-14 loss in u15s and 46-12 loss in u17s.
Last game is against NW Sydney tomorrow.
The final round for WA was played at Kenmore last night (Tues). 2 very good results.
U15 had a comfortable 36 to 10 win leaving them with a record of 3 wins and 2 losses. The 2 losses were both heart breakers so it was good for the boys to finish with 2 good wins.
U17 remain unbeaten but not without an almighty scrap. They played Brisbane orange and, with both sides playing a very skillful and physical game, this was a fantastic match to watch. WA were very unlucky to have a red card early in the 2nd half which left them scrambling but still managed to have their noses in front a few minutes out. Orange eventually managed to use their numbers out wide to crash over in the corner. A conversion attempt to steal the match was unsuccessful and so honors even at 8 - 8.
The draw was enough to secure the 17's top spot in pool D and a semi final against the winners of pool C (most likely Brisbane Purple).
The semi was scheduled for Brisbane on 29 March, with the ARU apparently confident that QLD would provide both contenders. The ARU has now advised that final is now going to held in Perth!
Everyone should get to that game in Perth - if WA win, they will play the final as the curtain raiser to the Reds-Force game at Suncorp on 5th April.
29/30 March is our bye weekend as well, all the more reason to go along and support the boys![]()

Great update guys, really enjoyed it. Any idea where/when the game will be played in Perth on the 29th March?
I don't want to promote GAGR too much on here, but this article from Lee Grant helps spruik JGC
