almost totally agree. Brisbane is good, Homebush depends on where you are sitting. It can be much the same as Subi if you're unlucky and you end up a long way away from the action. Homebush is an oval where the botto tier along the long side can be moved forward. However the upper tiers are a long way away, especially if you end up at the top/back rows. Our seats at Subi for the Force were pretty good when compared to some of the seating at homebush.
But I don't think the pricing is determined by how good or otherwise the spectator's viewing might be. It depends more upon perceived demand for tickets.
I had a look-see at the Rebels stadium while I was in Melbs at the weekend - very very envious of that compared even to the revamped NIB :-((((
Sounds like $100 for platinum @ Etihad was reasonable, even if it wasn't a Championship Test.
